Juvenile Law

If your child has been charged with an offense under the criminal code, he or she is required to have an attorney.  If you do not qualify for a court appointed attorney, you need to hire an experienced attorney for your child.  Depending on your child’s age and the severity of the offense, the District Attorney’s office can seek to certify your child as an adult.

Even if certification isn’t sought; your child, depending on the severity of the offense, could face time in the Texas Youth Commission (TYC). You want an attorney to fight for your child for deferred prosecution or probation.

For you and your child to get greater understanding of what your child faces give us a call for a free consultation at 713-599-1000.
